LunArt recognizes the need to reach more Israeli Arabs and sustain connections beyond initial participation in the core programs.  As we grow, we plan to network our pre-college art graduates in a supportive online community (via Facebook groups), as well as develop a counseling module that connects graduates of our Mechina with educational and financial support opportunities.  Through LunArt’s support of other organizations’ art-based initiatives, we hope to make additional professional opportunities available to our graduates and deepen the role of art education as an agent for social change and community building within the Israeli-Arab society. In addition, LunArt is in the process of promoting a conceptual module that we developed for guided art classes in Israeli High Schools aiming at educating for tolerance towards Israeli minorities.
